He was predeceased by: his parents, William Moffitt and Matilda Moffitt; his siblings, William Moffitt (Betty) and Agnes Jean Cizauskas (John); and his daughter Julie Day.

He is survived by: his children, Thomas Moffitt (Jean), David Moffitt (Tricia) and Kathi Belcher (John); his grandchildren, Kasey Kenworthy (David), Jarrett Moffitt (Elizabeth), Hanna, Olivia, Aiden, Max Belcher, Arabella and Charlotte Moffitt; his great grandchildren, Gavin, Avery, Payton Kenworthy, Jarrett James and Elizabeth Joan Moffitt; and his daughter Elmira. He is also survived by four nephews and three nieces.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Ideal Senior Living Center where he resided in his last year.
