We announce the death of James Gentilini (Binghamton, New York), who passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 79. James will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Gentilini and Ruth Gentilini (Denison); his brother Dennis Gentilini; his grandson Rylan James Henehan; and his pet Juan.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria (Dickson); his daughters, Danielle and Kathleen; his grandchildren, Mathew, Mariah Jachimowicz and Jesse Henehan Jr.; his brother Joseph Gentilini; his nephews, Paul (Caitlin) and Matthew Gentilini (Felicia); his cousins, Linda, William Ryan and Gary Snow; and his siblings-in-law, Allen (Shirley), Roy Dickson (Marlene), Jill Vasina (Jack) and Beth Dickson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
