He was predeceased by: his parents, George Compton and Clare Compton; and his nephew Shane Poklemba. He is survived by: his wife Linda Lee Compton; his brother Richard Compton (Therese); his siblings-in-law, Cynthia Jones (Wayne), Harold R. Vallese, Stuart M. Vallese (Cindy) and Warren R. Vallese; his nieces and nephews, Mary Poklemba, Michelle Vallese, Chris Vallese and Hunter Wignall; and his great-niece Angelina Bennett. He is also survived by many cousins and friends, especially his musical family.
