As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his father John H. Lewis. He is survived by: his son Kyle Applegate Lewis; his granddaughter Kya; his mother Ruth Lewis; and his sisters, Jacqueline Delk (Jackie) and Jean Curry. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
