He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis McGoff and Rosemary McGoff; and his brother Jimmy. He is survived by: his significant other Maria McGoff (Lenkiewicz-Lane); his mother-in-law Kathlein Lane; and his siblings, Michael, Kevin, Kate, Patti, Johnny, Rosemary and Elaine.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joseph's name to the American Cancer Society, the American Stroke Association, or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
