He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Mazzitelli and Rosemary Mazzitelli; and his brother-in-law Joseph Bartz. He is survived by: his wife Gen Mazzitelli; his children, Mark Mazzitelli and Alissa Zappia (Marcus); his granddaughter Sophia Zappia; his sister Mary Lou Bartz; his nieces, Danielle Jurosky (John) and Stephanie Bartz; and his cousin Louis Samela. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
