It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary I Sherwood of Binghamton, New York, who passed away on May 1, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Dr. Donald K. "Doc" Sherwood; her parents, Clayton Castle and Elizabeth Castle; and her siblings, Betty Gates and Clyde Castle.

She is survived by : her sons, Donald, Steve and David; her brother-in-law Bill Sherwood; her nephews, Richard Castle and Jeff Gates; and her niece Holly Gates. She is also survived by two grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
