He was predeceased by: his sister Sara; and his grandparents, Doris and Mike. He is survived by: his parents, Joe and Vickie; his brother Justin; his brother-in-law Bart; his sibling's children, Madalyn, Ryan and Benjamin; his son Matt; his godmother Anne Marie Distin; and his close friend Mary Alice Lesko. He is also survived by Several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his four cats.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Broome County Humane Society or the Animal Care Council because of Matt's love for animals.
