She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Emerick and June Emerick; and her brothers, Steve and John Emerick. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Gillespie; her brothers, Ron Emerick (Laura) and Jim Emerick (Patty); and her pets, Luca and Squeaks. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the DeMunn Funeral Home (36 Conklin Ave, Binghamton, NY 13903). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Castle Creek United Methodist Church (1087 Castle Creek Rd, Castle Creek, NY 13744).
