She was predeceased by: her husband Robert L (Shine); her parents, Edward Standfast and Estelle Standfast; her mother-in-law Anna Mae Howe; her sister Lois Marine; and her siblings-in-law, Frank Marine, John, Donald, James Howe, Frances and Dorothy Howe.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Howe (Debra) and Jeanne Caruso; and her granddaughter Nicole Caruso (Nick). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Nancy's name to Trinity Memorial Church, Paralyzed Veterans, or Broome County Humane Society.
