It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paula Purkis (Binghamton, New York), who passed away on January 27, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy; and her brother Graham. She is survived by: her husband Barry; her children, Amanda, Julia, Michael (Rachna) and Deborah (Andrew); her grandchildren, Megan, Kara (Rob), Margot (Hunter), Jon, Mitchell, Matthew and Rachel; and her great grandchild Ella.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fine Arts Society of the Southern Tier on her behalf.
