We announce the death of Peter Simkulet of Binghamton, New York, who passed away on October 11, 2026. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Simkulet and Mary Simkulet (Fundak); his siblings, Mary Simkulet, Irene Armstrong (Carson), Michael (Geneva), William and John, Jr.; his parents-in-law, Paul and Anna Martyak; and his brother-in-law Paul Martyak.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Simkulet; his sons, John (Ellen), Thomas and James (Michelle); his grandchildren, Evan (Sarah), Matthew, Victoria and Michael; and his great grandchild Josephine. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home (483 Chenango St, Binghamton, NY 13901). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 5:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
