He is survived by: his wife Karen (Wood); his children, Robert C. Cavanaugh II, Kathryn M. Cavanaugh, Fur and Finnigan; his sister Kathryn Battaglino (Michael, family: Beth, John Battaglino, Kristine Battaglino, Kathleen, Sam); his nieces and nephews, Anthony, Kate, Paul and Kara Mohan (Bill); his sisters, Elizabeth Rapasadi (Sam, family: Bob, Kathleen Mancini) and Mary Lousie Powers (Jack, family: Kristine Webb, Joe Powers); his mother-in-law Marsha Buck (Claude); and his children, Tim, Katie, Jess, Richard and Caitlyn.
