Robert J. Connelly Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 28, 2025, at the age of 85, Robert J. Connelly of Binghamton, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Robert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sallie Connelly (Webb); and his parents, Norma Connelly and Joseph Vonderhaar. He is survived by: his son Sean Connelly (Kelly); his grandchildren, Katherine of Alexandria, VA. and Duncan of Alexandria, VA.; his cousin Gary Vonderhaar (Letty) of Hampton, VA; and his nephews, Mark Nowak and Brian Casterlin.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Binghamton Boys & Girls Club in Bob's memory.
