He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Anna; and his siblings, Charles Mason, Jr., Phillip Mason, Cynthia Balles and Richard Mason.

He is survived by: his children, Robert Mason, Jr., Eliza Mason (Nicholas) and Kennedie Mason; his siblings, Ronald Mason, Tammy Stone (Jim), Tina Mason-Schad (Edward) and Angel Lavin (Edwin); and his close friends, Joe and Tracy Adams. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
