He was predeceased by : his parent Elinor; his brother David Roessing; and his sister-in-law Diane VanScoten. He is survived by : his wife Dawn Roessing; his nephew Luke Petrucci; his nieces, Charlee Pugh and Amanda Sparks; his brothers-in-law, Ken VanScoten (Dianne) and Kevin VanScoten; his stepdaughter Renea O'Brien (Jeff); and his stepgrandchildren, Makenzie, Carter and Cameron.
