He was predeceased by: his parents, R. Joseph Seidel and Margery Seidel; his siblings, Ronald Seidel, Patricia Chase, Beverly Labour, Joanne Flynn, Dennis Seidel and John Slavik; his first love Gladys Seidel; and his mother-in-law Myra Bogert.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Seidel, Lori Cron, Lisa Schwartz, Jennifer McManus (Ed) and Kristen Nagorny (Michael); his grandchildren, Melissa Masse, Matthew Cron, Elyssa, Eddie, Jacob McManus, Madison Nagorny and Stephanie Seidel; his great grandchildren, Grayden, Camden and Landen Masse; and his sister Linda Ranieri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Vestal United Methodist Church (328 Main St, Vestal, NY 13850). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his memory.
