He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Bennett and Dorothy Bennett; and his brothers, Eddie, Kenny, Johnny and George Bennett.
He is survived by: his brother Bobby; his sister-in-law Susan Bennett; and his sisters, Martha DaCunha and Barbara Kutney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
