She was predeceased by: her mother Nancy Santore Boyce; her brother Vincent Carrara; and her sister-in-law Anne Carrara. She is survived by: her son Carman Garufi (Betsy); her grandchildren, Giovanni, Angelo and Francesca; her son Auguste Garufi (Hikari Baba); her grandchild Amedeo Garufi; her great grandchild Leon Garufi; her daughter Lisa Bideaux (Jeffrey); her grandchildren, Abigail (Troy Robinson), Hannah (Chris DiPietro) and Jordan Bideaux; her son Richard Garufy (Vickie); her brother Richard Boyce (Joan); her nephew Wayne Carrara (Jennifer); her niece Kathy McGuriman (Mike); and her father Richard Boyce.
Joseph F. Cawley, Jr. In 2011 she retired from New York State and became of counsel with Garufi Law P. C., where she practiced until the Covid-19 shutdown in March 2020.
