He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley G. Forsyth and Florence Forsyth; and his siblings, Alice Watkins, Irene Hadlick and Allen Forsyth.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Thomas Forsyth (Kathy), Terry (Stephanie) and Elizabeth Petrozello (David); his grandchildren, Bethany Lowrie (Matt), Katie Konz (Rick), Todd Forsyth (Jackie) and Tim Petrozello; his great grandchildren, Kellan, Eli, Declan, Addison and Avery; and his sister-in-law Margaret Trebilcock (Richard "Dick"). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in his memory be made to the First Ward Senior Center, 266 Clinton St. Binghamton, NY 13901.
