He is survived by: his wife Xiao Lan Montanye; his daughter Lynn Montanye; his grandsons, Thomas R. Montanye and Levi M. Lujan; and his sisters, Jean (Michael Bodasarian), Joyce Montanye and Peggy Asma. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
