Virginia J. O'Brien Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia J. O'Brien of Binghamton, New York, who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert E. O'Brien; her son Robert A. O'Brien; her grandson Jonathan R. O'Brien; her sisters, Rose Linda DeNinis and Marie Giustiniani; her parents, Amelio DeNinis and Emily DeNinis; and her aunts and uncles, Brien and DeRitis.
She is survived by: her children, William O'Brien (Rebecca Kapstein), Jim O'Brien (Debbie), Denise Masciarelli and Chris O'Brien (Stephanie Carbone Hackett); her grandchildren, Julie O'Brien, Rose Oyola, Eric O'Brien (Jonna Patak), Danielle O'Brien, Brianna O'Brien (Dave Sabol), Emma, Garrett, Sarah Kapstein-O'Brien, Mariah Matthews (Pat), Dante Masciarelli, Brennan O'Brien, Madelyn O'Brien, Morgan O'Brien, Trenton Kosalek and Dylan Roberts; her great grandchildren, Bailey, Parker, PJ Matthews, Gia Rose O'Brien and Asher Sabol; her siblings, Rita Huse (Joe), Vince (Mary) and Tony DeNinis; and also Tammie Mangano. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the St. Mary's of the Assumption Church (37 Fayette St, Binghamton, NY 13901). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St Mary of the Assumption Church (37 Fayette St, Binghamton, NY 13901).
