With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Vivian Scheffer (Binghamton, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Vivian left this world on September 12, 2025, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Harold Scheffer; her parents, Stephen Valusek and Mary Valusek (Oswald); and her sisters, Arlene Valusek and Mary Ann Dino.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Scheffer, Robert Scheffer, Lynn Wilson, Vivian Briggs and Thomas Scheffer. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Trinity (346 Prospect St, Binghamton, NY 13905). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, St. Judes Children's Research Hospital or the Broome County Humane Society.
