It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Smetana of Binghamton, New York, who passed away on September 16, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Smetana (Demchak) and William Smetana; and his wife Alice. He is survived by: his sister Helen Smetana of Dalton, PA; and his stepdaughter Julia Rowland of Tacoma, WA. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
