He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry C. Long and Fredericka Long (Potts); his former wife Catherine; his siblings, John Long, Sr. and Nancy Long; and his son Daniel Long.
He is survived by: his wife Kit; his daughter Nancy Cruz (Sergio); and his grandchildren, Mateo and Gianna. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
