Joan F. Alfke Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan F. Alfke of Black River, New York, who passed away on June 21, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Joan's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Joan has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard W. Blaich and Harriet Blaich (Kylow); her husband Paul W. Alfke; and her son David B. Alfke. She is survived by: her sister Ann Elizabeth Moulton of Minnesota; and her friends, Steve and Nancy Lillie.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Brookside Cemetery Watertown Center.
