Melissa A. Thomas Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melissa A. Thomas of Black River, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 12, 2026 at the age of 62. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Decker and Barbara Decker (Trainham); her spouse Forest W. Thomas Jr.; and her son Jacob G. Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Jesse Woodruff of Florida, Joshua (Chenoa Woodruff) and Forest "Billy" Thomas III of Watertown; her grandchildren, Madilyn, Zaydin, Camden, Reighla, Brendyn and Isaiah; and her siblings, Stephen (Natalie Decker), Christopher (Lisa Decker), Roxanne (Patrick Kenney), William (Nichole Decker), Robert (Erin Decker) and Virginia "Gigi" (Robert Buckley). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
