She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fitzsimmons and Julia Fitzsimmons (Myers); her husband Frederick M. Joels of Paul's Catholic Church; and her brother-in-law Rollie Joels. She is survived by: her children, Frederick (Diane Joels), Elizabeth (Joseph Loveland), Deborah (Michael Place), Stephen (Vonnie Joels) and Kathy Manahan of Darrow, LA.; her grandchildren, Sarah McConnell (Luke), Fred Joels (Bethann), Stephanie Ritz, Jake Loveland, Katie Wratten (Kyle), Robert Place, Janelle Bova (Joe), Amanda Kramer (David), Kaci Coseo (Ed), Josh Manahan and Mariah Moran (Lane); her great grandchildren, Harper, Lyric, Hendrix, Raegen, Gianna, Addilyn, Rayne and Nora; and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Fitzsimmons of Webster, NY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (208 Leray St, Black River, NY 13612).
