He was predeceased by: his wife Celia M.; his son Donald Snyder; his parents, Francis Snyder and Helen Wiehe; his sister Catherine "Sis" Balester; and his brothers-in-law, Frank and Anthony Balester (late Judy).
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Lavis (Brian), Cheryl Iavenditti (Anthony) and Tricia Bagley (David); his grandchildren, Don Lavis (Meghan Sherer), Brian Lavis (Ann Nguyen), Patrick Lavis, Allison Byrne (Patrick), Kristen Koteras (James), Lauren Iavenditti (Lynn Amplement), Meghan Lavis (Jessie Allison), Kaitlyn and Dawson Bagley; his great grandchildren, Mia, Julia and Bexley; and his sisters-in-law, Anita Egloff (late Mickey) and Mary Ann Balester.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Don's honor may be made to the Alzheimers Association, Western New York Chapter.
