She was predeceased by: her husband Frank E. Rettig; her daughter Susan Zukic; her parents, Felix Switala and Victoria Switala; and her brothers, Theodore Switala (late Mary), Florian G. "George" Switala (late Mary), Leo Switala (late Margaret) and Harold Switala (late Mary).
She is survived by: her children, Carol Ann Duffett (David) and Donald Rettig (Erin). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
