He was predeceased by : his sister Helen Koczaja (late Adam). He is survived by : his wife Patricia Figiel; his children, Linda Figiel (late Michael Malysza) and Ronald Figiel; his grandchildren, Adam Sullivan (Amanda), Sean Figiel, Mark Malysza and Erin Figiel; his great grandchild Benjamin Sullivan; and his brothers, John Figiel, Chester (late Norma) and Edward Figiel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Big Tree Fire Hall.
