Edward Joseph Monks Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Joseph Monks of Blauvelt, New York, who passed away on May 5, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Edward leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Mary Monks and Frank Monks; and his sisters, Patricia Ann Mazzolla and Mary Jane McGowan. He is survived by : his wife Joan Patricia Monks (Flynn); his children, Joanne Monks Morris (Wayne Morris) of San Jose, CA and Edward Phillip Monks (Jose Luis Morales) of Westchester, NY.; his grandchildren, Kyra Joan Morris and Tatum Patricia Morris; and his sister-in-law Geraldine Cook. He is also survived by his family and friends.
