He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Barber and Patricia Smith Barber; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Barber and Alan Sawyer. He is survived by: his wife Donna R. Quakenbush Barber; his children, David Barber (Linda) of Bliss, Erica Burger (Philip) of Farmington and Adam Barber; his grandchildren, Jordan, Sydney Grace, Corin Barber, Maddox, Paxton and Bryce Burger; and his brothers, Mark Barber (Cindy) and Steve Barber. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Beginnings Fellowship Church. A memorial service was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
