He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond V. Almeter and Isabell G. Almeter (Hansen); and his son Todd Almeter. He is survived by: his son Trent Almeter of Florida; his daughter-in-law Valerie Almeter of Florida; his grandchildren, Jessica Mullen of Denver, CO, Sara of Florida, Sevi of Florida, Zane of Florida and Hannah Almeter of Florida; and his siblings, Grace Redding (Dave) of Arcade, Anthony Almeter (Linda) of Arcade, Richard Almeter (Jennifer) of Florida, Rae Jewert (Jay) of Chaffee and Sheila Vassar (late Jim) of Eagle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bliss Rescue Squad, 6655 Rt. 362, Bliss, NY 14024.
