He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick G. Conklin and Marilyn Conklin (Eddinger); and his siblings, Sue Morey and Jeffrey Conklin. He is survived by: his wife Amy Conklin; his children, Amanda Conklin, John Conklin (Becky), Wyatt Conklin (Morgan) and Meredith Conklin; his grandchildren, Roman, Bennett, Leo, Sophie and Elaina; his siblings, Thomas Conklin (Patti), Edward Conklin (Patty) and Joan Conklin (Scott Hastings); and his parents-in-law, Joanna and Bernard Stevenson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bloomfield High School (1 Oakmount Ave, Bloomfield, NY 14469). A reception will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bloomfield Educational Foundation, Bloomfield Central Schools, 45 Maple Avenue, Suite, A, Bloomfield, NY 14469, which will support future Bloomfield students and help carry on Dave's legacy for generations.
