He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Short and Edith Short. He is survived by: his wife Simone VanSile; his daughters, Terri Pardo (Tony), Holly Lovejoy (Mike) and Melanie Colegrove (Chris); his grandchildren, Anthony, Alessa, Grace, Gabbie, Owen, Katie and William; his siblings-in-law, Elaine VanSile, Elaine Newman, Mary Maier and Tom Ryan (Heather); and his nieces and nephews, Thomas Ryan (Jamie Eaves), Jimmy Ryan, Eric VanSile (Heather), Brenda Dominick (Roger), Kristy Williams (Jon) and Cindy Degaugh (Brian). He is also survived by great nephews, great nieces; and several cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc. (2 South Ave, East Bloomfield, NY 14443). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Bristol Fire Hall (4350 NY-64, Canandaigua, NY 14424).
