He was predeceased by: his brother Robert Banister; and his parents, Elmo Banister and Jean Banister (Harrison). He is survived by: his wife Susan Banister; his children, Jodie Alhart (Philip) and Scott Banister (Rachel); his stepdaughter Bridget McCabe (Albert Cauz); his grandchildren, Natalie, Noah, Griffin, Hannah, Alex and Sebastian; and his sister-in-law Betty Banister. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
