As Stephen departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Stephen may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Stephen leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen J. Ecker and Shirley Ecker (Goettman); and his sister Bonnie J Pinto (Robert). He is survived by: his siblings, Dale Woods (John) and Jeffrey Ecker (Suzanne). He is also survived by cousins, nieces & nephews, and grandnieces & nephews.
In his later years, Steve valiantly struggled with Parkinson's disease, which resulted in his stay at Fulton Center.
