With solemn reverence, we commemorate Albert A. Schmidt of Bloomington, New York, whose life came to an end on June 9, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert H. Schmidt and Evelyn Kohut Schmidt; his sisters, Helen Donnelly and Evelyn Page; and his siblings-in-law, Cameron Page and Lucille Clark Cyr.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Clark Schmidt; his daughters, Cynthia Zalondek (Kevin) of Amherst and Jennifer Klementis (Shane) of Woodstock; his grandchildren, Sara, Alex and Anna Klementis; and his brothers, Edward, Paul Schmidt of Kingston and Walter Schmidt (Joan) of Port Charlotte. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George J. Moylan Funeral Home Inc. (2053 NY-32, Rosendale, NY 12472). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations are requested to the Bloomington Fire Department.
