He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Davis and Katherine McGuire Davis; and his nephew Jon Keys. He is survived by: his significant other Holly Osterhoudt; his significant other's son John Phelps (Candice); his sisters, Dawn Jones and Kathleen Palinski (Richard); his siblings' children, David Palinski, Matthew Keys and Lori Keys; and also, Layne, Elin and Mila.
