He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smith and Mary Smith (Lehnan); and his spouse Selinda Thomas. He is survived by: his children, Andy Middaugh (Kay) of Friendship, Tacey Smith of Victor and Tina Sallazzo (Matthew Bull) of Rochester; his grandchildren, Madison Buse (William), Thomas Smith, Rylie Sallazzo and William Sallazzo; and his brothers, Irvin Smith (Monica) of Bolivar, Duane Smith of Cuba and Kenneth Smith of West Clarksville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc. (554 S Main St, Bolivar, NY 14715). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
