She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Cowles and Leona Eaton Cowles; her spouse Claude L. Mitchell; her children, Claude (Ethel), Barbara A. Interlicchia, Marvin J. Mitchell Greensboro (Mary Jane) and Mary K. Winchell Bolivar (Lee); her sister Jean Sexton; her daughter Gloria Harmes; and her siblings, George Cowles and Lois Lambert. She was also cherished by eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
