It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas M. Atwell of Bolivar, New York, who passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Prouty and Lucymae Truman Prouty Atwell; his sister Karen L. Atwell; and his nephew Christopher Atwell. He is survived by: his siblings, Cathy E. Atwell of Bolivar, Carol L. Atwell of Bolivar and Kevin C. Atwell (Brenda) of Taylorville, PA; his nieces and nephews, Jeremy W. Atwell, Burton M Little (Christie), Kevin C. Atwell, Jr., Lisa M. Atwell and Kelly L. Atwell; his brother-in-law Tommy Johnson; and his close friends, Tom, Linda, Chuck, Dawn and Shirley. He is also survived by two grandnephews; three grandnieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Tom's name may be made to a SPCA of the donor's choice.
