Colin G. Cunningham Obituary
In loving memory of Colin G. Cunningham of Bombay, New York, who departed this world on June 14, 2025 at the age of 81. Colin leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Cunningham and Huldah Cunningham; his wife Joan McElwain; and his sisters, Connie Donati and Judy O'Neil.
He is survived by: his children, Stacey Preiss (Robert) of Congers, NY, Nicole Furman (Timothy) of Malta, NY and Cory Cunningham (Joanne "Jan") of Ogdensburg, NY.; his grandchildren, Matthew Preiss (Melissa), Erin Preiss, Amber Cunningham and Kathryn "Katie" Cunningham; and his close friend Jean Jacques. He is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Augustine Church (2473 US-11, North Bangor, NY 12966). A Mass will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in Colin's honor may be made to the Bombay Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department. Colin's life was enriched by those who gave the gift of life through blood donation.
