Daniel M. Kazek Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel M. Kazek of Boonville, New York, who passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Kazek and Jane H. Lewicki Kazek; and his wife Patricia J. Shepard. He is survived by: his children, Timothy Kazek (Heather) of Canton, Robert Kazek (Tonya) of Boonville, Catherine Rookey (Jonathan) of Port Leyden and Sharon Rowsam (Rodney) of Boonville; his grandchildren, Tori Beaman (Chris), Wanona Measheaw (Adam), Alexandir Kazek, Cody Kazek (Alia), Cameron Kazek (Cortney), Dakota Rookey (Madison), Dustin Rookey (Ashley), Madison Rookey (Garret), Devin Rowsam (Brianna) and Jordon Rowsam (Alyssa); his sister Carolyn Kohl (Richard); his aunt Irene "Sally" Croniser; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Shepard (Cathy) and David Shepard (Deana). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mills Funeral Home (301 Post St, Boonville, NY 13309). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at 3517 Rector Rd, Lowville, NY 13367.
