He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Platt and Mary Sweeney Platt. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Kenyon; his children, Melinda Platt, Kristy Platt, Robert "Robby" Platt (Krystal Hence) and Kaylee Platt (Chase Sterling); his grandchildren, Jordyn Platt, Elyjah Platt, Kenneth O'Leary, Joshua Platt, Alexis Ball, Abrianna Ball, Cyra Lighthall, Cameron Lighthall and Avalyn Sterling; and his siblings, Michael Platt (Roxy), Chryl Felshaw (Kevin), Dawn Glasgow (Ed) and John Platt.
