He was predeceased by: his parents, D. James Harms and Joyce Harms (Van Slyke); his wife Judith Harms (Butler); and his brother Paul Harms. He is survived by: his close friend Karen Klein; his sons, David Harms and Jeffrey Harms (Krista); his grandchildren, Zack (Melanie), Jacob (Selena) and Haley Harms; his great grandchild Sadie Harms; and his sisters, Kathryn Nordstrom (Richard) and Susan Gabel (late Donald).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Laing Funeral Home Inc. (2724 W Church St, Eden, NY 14057). A prayer will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
