She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Richard J. Gallagher; her children, Kathleen (John), Richard (Colleen), Peggy (Richard), Maureen (Joe), Michael (Tom), Patricia (Robert) and Christine (Michael); and her pet Sophie.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Michael J. Grant Funeral Home (571 Suffolk Ave, Brentwood, NY 11717). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the St. Anne's R. C. Church (88 Second Ave, Brentwood, NY 11717).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie's name can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
