He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Myers, Jr. and Andrew Myers (Amy); his grandchildren, Grace, Lily, Zachary and Nolan Myers; and his siblings, Sue Lawton (Daniel) and David Myers (Kathy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He worked for several years at the New York Division of the American Cancer Society as the Deputy Executive Vice President.
