He was predeceased by: his former wife Diane Alexander McLaughlin; and his parents, John J. McLaughlin and Catherine McLaughlin (Eileen Sharkey). He is survived by: his wife Beth McLaughlin; his children, Mary Ellen Meckes (Greg), Michael McLaughlin (Stacey), John McLaughlin (Alecia), Lynette Pirong (Bob Hayford) and Randy Perrin (Jordan); his grandchildren, Gage Hayford, Colin, Alana, Claire McLaughlin and Maddie Perrin; and his brother Patrick McLaughlin (Noreen). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
